Creative food styling for a Premium dessert tea

I love creative food / product styling. I love being pushed out of my comfort zone to think beyond the project scopes. I had a wonderful collaboration recently with a talented and experienced photographer Danella Chalmers.
Mujde from Tea Cherie contacted her with a vision and a concept to launch her dessert teas online. I was fortunate to be recommended for food styling. We had a brief from the designer regarding the colour preferences and props to be selected. This is always a great starting point for brain storming ideas and creating mood board.
The theme was elegance, rich and moody and preferred colours were chocolate and mouse for landing page and blog pages. The product page was designed to have clean images on vanilla background. I painted the backgrounds accordingly and sourced the props that matched the vision.
