Photography and Styling for Mackay's marketing

I was excited to collaborate with Mackays marketing this year and work on creating stylised images showcasing one of their local produce and brand Ruby rise papaya.

Ruby Rise Red Papaya is produced by the MacKay family who’ve been farming tropical fruits in Far North Queensland since 1945. Over four generations the family have grown an expertise in using environmentally conscious farming techniques, that unlock the full flavour and natural health benefits of their produce.

I met Kyra Bund, category manager of Mackay's marketing at Fine food expo 2019 and who introduced me to Melinda Buskin, senior marketing manager. Melinda was bursting with ideas and wanted to create images featuring this amazing fruit. I was lucky enough to collaborate with Mackays marketing and was pleased to turn her fabulous visualisation in celluloid. Lot of planning and preparation goes into a day shooting and this efforts can be achieved through clear mood board prepared ahead of time. Honestly a mood board helps to gather the right props and background and speed up the work flow. It was good to discuss with Melinda and come out with amicable mood board.
